Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior scientists and lab technicians in the execution of various laboratory experiments and procedures.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results.
- Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning, calibration, and inventory management.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality control guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety procedures and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience in a university or research laboratory setting (e.g., coursework, internships).
