Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cross-Dock Associate to join our fast-paced logistics hub in Boulder, Colorado. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of packages and freight through our facility. As a Cross-Dock Associate, you will be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, sorting packages, and loading outgoing trucks, all within a dynamic and deadline-driven environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently unload incoming freight and packages from trailers using appropriate equipment.
  • Accurately sort and stage packages based on destination and routing instructions.
  • Load outgoing trailers with sorted freight, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
  • Perform routine quality checks on packages for damage and proper labeling.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 75 lbs consistently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cross-dock environment.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • Familiarity with scanning technology and inventory systems.
