Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently from trailers and containers.
- Sort packages manually or with equipment, adhering to company procedures.
- Scan packages and document their status accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic literacy and numerical skills.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role (not required, but a plus).
