Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Google Information Specialist with a strong digital data focus to join our remote team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of digital information across various platforms, contributing directly to client projects that leverage Google’s ecosystem. You will be responsible for meticulous data curation, verification, and analysis, helping our clients make informed decisions based on reliable information. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to significant projects from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and verification of digital data using Google tools and other online resources.
- Categorize, tag, and organize information to improve searchability and accessibility for internal teams and clients.
- Identify and correct discrepancies or inaccuracies in large datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with project managers and data analysts to understand information requirements and deliver accurate results.
- Monitor data trends and report on findings relevant to specific project objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Google's data best practices, tools, and algorithms.
- Assist in the development and refinement of data collection and verification processes.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data verification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and advanced Google search techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen interest in digital information management and data quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Management, Library Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in data entry, data quality, or information management roles.
- Familiarity with database concepts or content management systems (CMS).
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to information organization.
