Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Google Professional to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is a high-demand, 100% remote position based anywhere within the UK, offering the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with teams across various projects. As a Google Professional, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace. You will work on critical client projects, providing expert guidance and hands-on technical support to drive digital transformation and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute, storage, networking, and data services.
- Manage and optimize Google Workspace environments, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity for clients.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance on Google technologies, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct technical assessments, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative Google-centric solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance policies, and industry regulations within Google environments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented Google Cloud solutions and configurations.
- Stay current with the latest Google product updates, features, and certifications, continuously enhancing your expertise.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine).
- Strong understanding of Google Workspace administration and deployment (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin console).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within a Google ecosystem.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional Certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with serverless technologies like Cloud Functions or App Engine.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools on GCP (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc, Looker).
- Experience in client-facing consulting or professional services roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
