Job Description
Join Greene King as a Hops Picker – Traditional Brewery Support and become an integral part of our brewing legacy in Cambridge. This hands-on role is essential for maintaining the quality and character of our traditional ales. You will primarily be involved in the careful selection, preparation, and handling of hops, ensuring only the finest ingredients make it into our brewing process. Beyond hops, this role supports various aspects of brewery operations, contributing to a smooth and efficient production cycle. Key Responsibilities
- Manually inspect, sort, and pick hops to meet strict quality standards for brewing.
- Assist with the preparation and transfer of hops to the brewing vessels.
- Support general brewery operations, including cleaning and sanitisation of equipment and work areas.
- Aid in the handling, storage, and inventory management of brewing ingredients.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure the tidiness of the brewery environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the brewery.
- Collaborate with the brewing team to ensure timely and efficient ingredient processing.
