Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Hospital Logistics Operative at our Norwich Distribution Centre. In this critical role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the efficient movement and management of medical supplies and equipment. This involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards. You will play a key part in maintaining the seamless flow of essential items to hospitals and clinics across the region, directly contributing to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, check, and store incoming goods, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts – training provided if necessary) to move and retrieve stock.
- Pick and pack orders according to specified requirements, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the distribution centre.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory systems.
