Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Instagram Aesthetician Aide to join our remote visual marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the visual identity of our renowned beauty brands on Instagram. The successful candidate will assist in curating, editing, and scheduling visually appealing content, ensuring a cohesive and engaging aesthetic that resonates with our audience. This 100% remote position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for beauty, and a solid understanding of Instagram’s visual best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the curation and selection of high-quality visual content (photos, videos, graphics) for Instagram feeds and stories.
- Perform basic photo and video editing, retouching, and color correction to maintain brand consistency and aesthetic standards.
- Schedule and publish Instagram content using internal tools, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
- Monitor Instagram trends, competitor activities, and engagement metrics to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing and creative teams to ensure visual assets align with campaign objectives.
- Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, ensuring all visual content is easily accessible and properly tagged.
- Provide support in ideating and developing new visual concepts and content formats for Instagram.
- Ensure all published content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices for accessibility.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop Express, Canva).
- Strong understanding of Instagram's platform features, aesthetics, and content best practices.
- Excellent eye for detail, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and lifestyle trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even informal) managing a visually focused Instagram account or social media presence.
- Familiarity with video editing basics (e.g., CapCut, in-app Instagram editing tools).
- Basic graphic design skills.
