Job Description

As an IT Bot Validator with a Smart Working Technical focus, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of our automated processes and robotic solutions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for validating the functionality of our bot deployments, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with development and operations teams to resolve issues, ensuring our smart working initiatives meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automated bots and workflows.
  • Perform thorough validation of bot functionalities, data transformations, and system integrations.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze bot performance and efficiency, providing feedback for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into validation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, results, and bug reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, validation, or technical testing roles.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
  • Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test cases and scripts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical mindset.
  • Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Certification in RPA technologies or software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
  • Experience with SQL for data validation and database querying.
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of test procedures.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
