Job Description
Are you a budding creative with a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for what makes content pop on Pinterest? CJRW is seeking a motivated Junior Creative specializing in Pinterest to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for an entry-level talent to build a robust professional portfolio while contributing to real client projects. You’ll work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within an established agency, learning from experienced professionals and helping to shape the visual identity of various brands on one of the most powerful visual discovery platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and engaging creative concepts specifically tailored for the Pinterest platform.
- Design, produce, and optimize a variety of Pinterest content, including static pins, video pins, idea pins, and carousel pins.
- Conduct research on Pinterest trends, best practices, and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and other creative team members to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
- Assist in managing Pinterest content calendars and scheduling posts.
- Monitor Pinterest analytics and contribute to reports, identifying opportunities for content optimization and improvement.
- Actively seek feedback and iterate on designs to enhance overall visual appeal and performance.
- Maintain an organized portfolio of all created Pinterest assets and campaigns.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools like Canva.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Pinterest platform, its user base, and content best practices.
- Strong visual communication skills with an ability to translate ideas into compelling visual assets.
- Basic understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A portfolio showcasing creative work (student projects, personal projects, or internships are welcome).
- Basic copywriting skills for compelling pin titles and descriptions.
