Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in collecting samples of petroleum products, raw materials, and environmental elements according to established protocols.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and analyses on samples using standard equipment and procedures, accurately recording observations and results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to quality control standards.
- Document all findings, data, and procedures meticulously, preparing reports and presenting data as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Support inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of operational areas and equipment, reporting any anomalies or potential hazards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of scientific principles (chemistry, physics)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and analysis
