Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Logistics Admin Assistant to support our warehouse operations in New Port Richey, FL. In this crucial role, you will be the backbone of our administrative processes, ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, coordinating with various departments, and providing essential support to logistics and warehouse management teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including BOLs and delivery receipts.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule appointments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare various reports related to logistics operations, inventory, and warehouse activity.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Support the warehouse management team with day-to-day operational tasks and special projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations within the administrative function.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors regarding shipment status and inquiries.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and terminology.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
