Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Manage your own business finances, including fuel costs, maintenance, and other operational expenses.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle is in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to all Schneider operational policies and procedures.
- Actively seek opportunities to optimize business performance and profitability.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Previous experience with a lease purchase or owner-operator program
- Basic understanding of business principles and financial management
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
