Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Member Experience Agent to join our team in Antioch, CA. This immediate hire position is perfect for individuals passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals within a dynamic credit union environment. You will be the primary point of contact for our members, delivering exceptional service by handling transactions, answering inquiries, and providing information on our diverse range of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
- Provide comprehensive information and guidance on credit union products and services, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and digital banking tools.
- Identify member needs and proactively offer suitable solutions that align with their financial well-being.
- Resolve member inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex cases to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with members, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to articulate information clearly.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist members.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately and responsibly.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution in a customer-facing role.
- Experience with financial software or core banking systems (e.g., Symitar).
- Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Tagalog) is a significant advantage.
