Job Description
Join O’Brien Glass as a Mobile Windshield Repellent – Rain-X Application Specialist in Geelong, Victoria. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mobile service, applying Rain-X advanced water repellent to vehicle windshields and other glass surfaces. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, excellent customer interaction, and the ability to work independently in various outdoor settings. You will operate a company vehicle, travel to customer locations, and ensure precise application of products, enhancing driver visibility and safety. Full training on Rain-X products and application techniques will be provided to ensure you become an expert in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations in and around Geelong to provide mobile Rain-X application services.
- Prepare vehicle windshields and glass surfaces thoroughly for repellent application.
- Apply Rain-X products meticulously according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Educate customers on the benefits and maintenance of Rain-X treatments.
- Manage and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- Complete all necessary service documentation and reports accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle care or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, car wash services, or mobile service roles.
- Familiarity with Rain-X products or similar automotive glass treatments.
- Customer service experience in a face-to-face environment.
