Our client family in Kitchener is seeking a Mother’s Helper to assist with daily tasks, light household duties, and engaging their children during the busy morning hours. This role is perfect for a student, a parent looking for part-time work, or anyone looking to make a positive impact in a family’s daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with morning routines, including helping children get ready for school/daycare.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play.
- Prepare simple, healthy snacks and light meals for children.
- Perform light household tasks such as tidying common areas, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and light laundry.
- Run occasional errands as needed (e.g., grocery store, post office).
- Provide an extra set of hands during peak morning hours to ensure a smooth start to the day.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (for errands, if applicable).
- References from previous childcare or volunteer experiences.
