Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Records Management Aide with a Digital Archive focus to join our dynamic team in Atlanta. In this role, you will play a crucial part in organizing, maintaining, and preserving Netflix’s valuable digital and physical assets. You will assist in the lifecycle management of records, from creation to disposition, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements. This position requires a proactive approach to digital archival processes, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the cataloging, indexing, and classification of digital and physical records according to established standards.
- Support the migration of physical records to digital formats, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Perform quality control checks on digitized content to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update records management databases and systems.
- Respond to requests for information and retrieval of records in a timely and efficient manner.
- Help implement and adhere to records retention schedules and disposition processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of digital archiving workflows and best practices.
- Provide general administrative support to the Records Management team.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital file management and organization.
- Familiarity with database management and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of records management principles.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Archival Studies, Information Management, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise content management (ECM) systems or digital asset management (DAM) platforms.
- Knowledge of digital preservation standards and methodologies.
- Previous experience in a media or entertainment industry setting.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to records retention.
