Job Description
We are seeking an engaged and analytical Twitter (X) Moderator to join our remote team. This role is crucial for monitoring, moderating, and analyzing trends on the X platform related to Netflix content, brand mentions, and industry conversations. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying emerging topics, engaging with the community, and escalating critical issues to relevant internal teams. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized brand from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor Twitter (X) for mentions of Netflix, its content, talent, and industry trends.
- Identify and report on trending topics, memes, and conversations relevant to Netflix's brand and content strategy.
- Engage with the community in a positive, on-brand voice, responding to inquiries and fostering discussion.
- Detect and escalate instances of misinformation, brand reputation threats, or critical user feedback to appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with social media, marketing, and PR teams to align on messaging and campaign support.
- Utilize social listening tools to gather data and insights on audience sentiment and engagement.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Twitter (X) platform policies and best practices.
- Contribute to daily and weekly reports on key trends, insights, and community engagement metrics.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in social media moderation, community management, or social listening.
- Proven ability to identify and analyze social media trends and conversations.
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and tone.
- Proficiency with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Sprinklr).
- Strong understanding of Twitter (X) platform nuances, culture, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive topics and brand communications.
- Demonstrated passion for entertainment, film, and TV series.
- Availability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends, to cover global trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience working with global brands or in the entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with multiple social media platforms beyond Twitter (X).
- Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting for social media metrics.
- Experience in crisis communication or rapid response in a social media context.
