Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured new graduate RN residency program, attending all required didactic and clinical sessions.
- Deliver compassionate and safe patient care under the direct supervision of a preceptor and experienced nursing staff.
- Develop and refine clinical assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation skills for diverse patient populations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and policies.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Seek feedback from preceptors and mentors and actively engage in self-reflection for continuous professional growth.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards of nursing practice.
Required Skills
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current or eligible for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Strong foundational knowledge of nursing principles and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
