Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Online Xbox Community Engagement Specialist to join our team, working remotely from Visalia, CA. This role is crucial for fostering a positive and engaging online environment for Xbox players across various social media platforms. You will be the voice of Xbox, interacting directly with our community, responding to inquiries, sharing exciting updates, and identifying trends to enhance player satisfaction and brand loyalty. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and engage with the Xbox community across all major social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, etc.).
  • Respond promptly and professionally to player comments, questions, and feedback.
  • Proactively identify and participate in relevant conversations to increase brand visibility and positive sentiment.
  • Create engaging short-form content (text, image, video ideas) tailored for specific platforms to spark community interaction.
  • Escalate critical issues, bugs, or sensitive feedback to internal teams (e.g., support, development, PR).
  • Track and report on community sentiment, emerging trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of online events, contests, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and community strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with Xbox news, game releases, and industry trends.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing and engaging with online communities on social media platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and tone.
  • Deep understanding and passion for Xbox gaming, including consoles, games, and services.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive community interactions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a major gaming brand or entertainment company.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Previous experience in customer service or support roles.
  • A strong personal social media presence with a focus on gaming content.
