Job Description
Are you an energetic individual with a passion for the outdoors and a desire to help others explore and enjoy nature? Vail Resorts is looking for an enthusiastic Outdoor Adventure Helper to join our team in Park City. This role is perfect for someone who loves being active, engaging with guests, and contributing to unforgettable outdoor experiences. You’ll be assisting guests with various activities, ensuring their safety, and sharing your excitement for the mountain environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with preparation and execution of outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, ropes courses, or scenic lift rides.
- Provide guidance and support to guests of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a positive and safe experience.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain activity areas to high safety standards.
- Educate guests on safety protocols, local flora and fauna, and resort offerings.
- Act as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for guest inquiries.
- Respond to and assist in emergency situations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and energy throughout the workday.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor recreation, guiding, or customer service.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of local Park City trails, ecology, and resort amenities.
- Experience with various outdoor equipment (e.g., bikes, harnesses).
