Job Description

Walmart in Fairbanks is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Retail Staff to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for teens eager to learn the ropes of retail, provide excellent customer service, and gain valuable work experience, primarily on weekends. You’ll be an important part of ensuring our store is organized, customers are happy, and operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with locating products and answering basic inquiries.
- Help organize and restock shelves to maintain a tidy and shoppable store.
- Support with maintaining store cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register (with training).
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding age-appropriate tasks.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (with assistance if needed).
