Job Description
Join the FedEx team as a Part-time Student Sorter in our Rosslyn facility. This entry-level position is ideal for students seeking flexible hours and valuable work experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for efficiently sorting packages and mail, ensuring they reach their correct destinations. Key Responsibilities
- Sort parcels, mail, and packages by destination, weight, and size according to established procedures.
- Load and unload packages from trucks and conveyors.
- Scan incoming and outgoing shipments using handheld devices.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
