Join Lowe’s as a Summer Season Local Tasker specializing in Patio Set Assembly! We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to assist our customers with the assembly of various patio furniture sets during the peak summer season. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work independently while providing valuable service to our community members. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer homes or designated assembly sites within the Pasco area.
- Assemble patio furniture sets, grills, and other outdoor living products according to manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all components are securely fastened and products are fully functional.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after assembly.
- Manage time effectively to complete assemblies within scheduled timeframes.
- Report any missing parts, damages, or assembly challenges to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Reliable transportation to various customer locations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture assembly or general handyman work.
- Ownership of a basic set of assembly tools.
- Familiarity with various types of outdoor furniture and hardware.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
