Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their general inquiries.
- Process retail transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pharmacy and front-end area.
- Stock shelves, organize products, and ensure proper inventory levels.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Handle prescription drop-offs and pick-ups, verifying customer information under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry.
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or actively pursuing)
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic computer proficiency for operating POS systems and other tools
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail setting is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment (e.g., phone systems, copiers).
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are highly valued.
