Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Supply Chain Associate to join our dynamic team in Chula Vista. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of supply chain principles and a strong desire for professional development within the healthcare industry. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will contribute to the efficient flow of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels to support our pharmacies and patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and processing orders to ensure adequate stock of pharmaceutical products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to track shipments and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory using our supply chain management systems.
  • Support the analysis of supply chain data to identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits and reconciliation processes.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies related to pharmaceutical supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to understand their needs and ensure supply chain operations align with business objectives.
  • Contribute to special projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and technology.
  • Identify and resolve minor issues and discrepancies in supply chain operations, escalating complex problems to senior staff.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably within healthcare or retail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
  • Certifications in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
