Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pinterest Support Specialist to join our customer experience team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for Pinterest users, handling a wide range of inquiries and issues exclusively through written communication channels such as email, chat, and support tickets. Your primary goal will be to provide timely, accurate, and empathetic assistance, resolving user concerns related to account management, technical issues, content moderation, advertising policies, and general platform navigation. This position requires exceptional writing skills, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the Pinterest platform to ensure a positive and efficient user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues via email, chat, and support tickets with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Investigate and troubleshoot user problems related to Pinterest features, technical glitches, and policy guidelines.
- Educate users on Pinterest best practices, policies, and functionalities.
- Accurately document all interactions and resolutions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, engineering, policy) to escalate complex issues and provide user feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pinterest products, features, and policy updates.
- Identify trends in user issues and contribute to knowledge base articles and FAQ development.
- Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer support role, preferably with a focus on written communication.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proven ability to provide empathetic and clear support in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer support tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with the Pinterest platform as a user or content creator.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting a social media platform or digital product.
- Knowledge of Pinterest's advertising products and policies.
- Familiarity with basic HTML or technical troubleshooting concepts.
