Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking for an immediate start in a dynamic manufacturing environment? IPL Plastics is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Plastic Injection Molding Catchers. In this entry-level role, you will be crucial to our production line, responsible for safely catching hot plastic parts as they exit the injection molding machine, carefully trimming excess material (flash), and performing initial quality inspections. This position requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely catch hot plastic parts as they are ejected from injection molding machines.
- Carefully trim excess plastic (flash) from molded parts using hand tools.
- Visually inspect parts for defects, such as short shots, burns, or excessive flash.
- Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and count.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed to maintain workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
