Job Description

The Policy Implementation Assistant with a Project Management focus will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of new and revised organizational policies and initiatives. This position involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of policy implementation projects across various departments, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and be eager to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with project managers, policy analysts, and departmental stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and effective policy integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and documentation for policy implementation initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items to ensure project progress.
  • Support communication efforts by drafting internal memos, updates, and presentations related to policy changes.
  • Gather and analyze data to monitor implementation progress and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with new policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the project management team, including scheduling and resource coordination.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or regulated industry setting.
