Job Description
Join the Safeway team as a Price Tagger! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a straightforward and essential role within a dynamic retail environment. As a Price Tagger, you will be responsible for accurately applying price tags to merchandise and ensuring all products are correctly labeled. This position involves minimal customer interaction, allowing you to focus on precise and efficient task execution. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and contribute to the overall organization of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply price tags, labels, and promotional signage to merchandise.
- Ensure all products on shelves and in storage are correctly priced according to current sales and regular pricing.
- Remove outdated or incorrect pricing labels and replace them as necessary.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and identifying damaged products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the backroom and sales floor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding product handling and pricing accuracy.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and verifying prices.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
