Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Profile & Credential Verifier to join our Data Security team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously verifying the authenticity of profiles and credentials, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and security compliance. This position plays a vital part in safeguarding sensitive information and preventing unauthorized access within our systems. You will work within a robust framework of data protection policies and contribute directly to Capgemini’s commitment to security excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the authenticity and accuracy of user profiles, identities, and credentials through established procedures.
  • Conduct thorough checks of documentation and data submitted for verification, identifying any discrepancies or red flags.
  • Process and maintain secure records of all verified and unverified profiles, ensuring data confidentiality.
  • Collaborate closely with internal security teams to investigate and resolve verification issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company data security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices (e.g., GDPR).
  • Prepare reports on verification outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of verification processes.
  • Provide support and guidance on verification processes to internal stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of data security principles and common verification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using verification tools and databases.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Criminology, Data Science, Business Administration).
  • Previous experience in a compliance, risk, or data entry role, particularly with a focus on verification or security.
  • Familiarity with UK data protection regulations, including GDPR.
  • Relevant certifications in data security or compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Fraud Examiner – CFE).
