Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Minneapolis. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and administrative support. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and waiting room.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • CPR certification.
