Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Tech Aide to join our innovative team, specifically focusing on software testing for a major streaming platform, Netflix. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality and user experience of a globally recognized entertainment service from the comfort of your home. You will play a crucial role in identifying and documenting software defects, ensuring our client’s applications function flawlessly across various devices and platforms. This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic, distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and scripts for Netflix software applications across different operating systems and devices.
- Identify, document, and report software defects, bugs, and usability issues with clear, concise, and comprehensive descriptions.
- Collaborate with senior testers and development teams to understand requirements and validate fixes.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities, including test results and defect status.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improving software quality and testing processes.
- Stay updated with new features and changes in the Netflix platform and associated technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of software applications and user interfaces.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
