Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Research Lead to join our team in Fairfield, CA. This pivotal role involves leading complex research projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights that drive strategic business decisions for our clients. The Research Lead will be responsible for designing research methodologies, overseeing data collection, conducting advanced analysis, and presenting findings to stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive research studies, including methodology development, survey design, and data collection strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of research analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and interpret complex data sets to identify key trends and actionable insights.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, research methodologies, and technological advancements to continually enhance research capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and client service teams to align research efforts with business objectives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related analytical field.
- Proven experience in designing and managing end-to-end research projects.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, SAS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative or social science discipline.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of specific industry sectors (e.g., CPG, Retail, Media).
- Familiarity with big data analytics platforms and techniques.
