Job Description

Toni&Guy Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Salon Shampoo Specialist to join our morning shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with no prior experience to learn from the best in the industry. As a Shampoo Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have a relaxing and luxurious experience from the moment they step into our basin area. You will be responsible for providing expert hair washing services, maintaining a pristine and organized workspace, and assisting stylists as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair washing and conditioning services for clients, tailored to their hair type and needs.
- Ensure client comfort and relaxation during the shampooing process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo station, including sanitizing basins and tools.
- Manage inventory of shampoo, conditioner, and other hair treatment products at the basin.
- Assist senior stylists with basic tasks such as towel management, preparing color bowls, and general salon upkeep.
- Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive start to their salon experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stylists to understand specific requirements.
- Adhere to all salon hygiene and safety standards.
