Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Sound Quality Tester to join our remote team, focusing specifically on consumer electronics products. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously evaluating the audio performance of our cutting-edge products, from concept to market. Your keen ear and analytical mind will identify subtle nuances, potential flaws, and areas for improvement, ensuring every Bose product meets our stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed listening tests on various consumer electronics products, including headphones, speakers, and home audio systems.
- Identify and document audio anomalies, defects, and inconsistencies, such as distortions, hisses, clicks, and frequency response issues.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback on sound characteristics and overall audio performance.
- Execute predefined test plans and contribute to the development of new testing methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and quality assurance teams to communicate findings and verify resolutions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of test results, observations, and product performance data.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in audio quality.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic audio testing equipment and software.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Exceptional critical listening skills and a highly developed 'ear' for audio quality.
- Strong understanding of audio principles and common acoustic terminology.
- Proficiency in documenting observations and findings clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical teams.

- Familiarity with consumer electronics products and their typical use cases.
