Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Spa Beauty Therapist to join our luxury spa team in Wakefield. As a key member of our wellness department, you will be responsible for providing a range of high-quality beauty and massage treatments to our discerning guests, ensuring an experience of ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of beauty treatments including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, and waxing, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand preferences, assess skin conditions, and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
• Ensure treatment rooms are immaculately clean, tidy, and prepared with all necessary equipment and products before and after each service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all areas of the spa, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Provide expert advice on retail products and home care regimens, effectively driving product sales.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat bookings and loyalty.
• Assist with spa reception duties as required, including booking appointments, handling inquiries, and processing payments.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.
• Collaborate with the spa team to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Required Skills

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Proven experience delivering a wide range of beauty and massage treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a luxury hotel spa or high-end salon.
• Additional qualifications in specialized treatments (e.g., hot stone massage, advanced facials, specific product house training).
• Proficiency in spa software and booking systems.
