Job Description
Pasco County Schools is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Substitute Music Teachers to join our team in Zephyrhills, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging music lessons following existing curriculum and lesson plans.
- Manage classroom effectively to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Provide instruction in various musical concepts, instruments, and vocal techniques as needed.
- Supervise students in the classroom, during transitions, and in common areas.
- Maintain open communication with school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Passion for music and music education.
- Ability to follow and implement pre-planned music lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and student needs.
- Must meet Florida Department of Education requirements for substitute teachers.

- Prior experience teaching music in a K-12 setting.

- Florida teaching certification (or eligibility).
