Job Description
Are you passionate about the beach lifestyle, surfing, or simply love the relaxed vibe of coastal culture? Fat Face in Chester is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Surf Shop Assistant for casual day work. While our shop is located in the heart of historic Chester, we embody the spirit of the coast, offering a range of apparel, accessories, and gear that speaks to a love for the ocean and outdoor adventure. This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours, who enjoys engaging with customers, and has a genuine interest in our brand and products. You’ll be the face of our coastal-inspired collection, helping customers find everything they need for their next trip to the beach or simply to embrace the laid-back surf lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service, assisting them with product selection and purchases.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising new arrivals and tidying displays.
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Process deliveries, restock shelves, and ensure products are correctly priced and displayed.
- Share knowledge about our products, including their features, benefits, and how they embody the surf/coastal lifestyle.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team environment.
