Job Description

In this role, you will assist customers with booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and vacation packages, providing expert advice and personalized service from the comfort of your home office. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding travel plans and services.
- Book domestic and international flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and vacation packages.
- Provide accurate information on travel restrictions, visa requirements, and destination details.
- Assist customers with changes, cancellations, and rebooking of travel itineraries.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell travel-related products and services when appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, products, and supplier offerings.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as client-specific guidelines.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A quiet, dedicated home office space with reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Empathy and a patient demeanor when dealing with diverse customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role (at least 6 months).
- Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
- Prior experience in the travel industry (e.g., travel agent, tour operator).
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
