Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and embark on an exciting journey of regional assignments with the added benefit of weekly payouts. As a Travel LPN, you will be a vital part of our mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care wherever it’s needed most, primarily within the Pasco, WA region and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical information.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
- Current unencumbered LPN license in Washington State (or compact license eligible).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN.
- Current BLS certification (AHA recognized).
- Proficiency in medication administration and wound care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diverse healthcare settings (e.g., long-term care, acute care, clinic).
- Advanced certifications relevant to nursing specialty (e.g., IV certification).
- Experience with travel nursing or contract assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
