Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues within game user interfaces (UI) and overall user experience (UX).
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback on UI design elements, navigation flows, and interactive components.
- Document and report all identified issues in a bug tracking database, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and producers to communicate findings and suggest improvements.
- Participate in regular playtesting sessions, offering constructive criticism from a player perspective while maintaining a design-focused lens.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the implemented solutions effectively address the reported issues without introducing new problems.
- Contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies and best practices for UI/UX evaluation.
- Stay informed about current UI/UX trends, gaming technologies, and competitor products.
