Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Building Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on Electrical and HVAC systems to join our team in Roseville, CA. This stable full-time position is critical to ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our busy logistics facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical infrastructure and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance schedules, responding to repair calls, and supporting the overall upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, and exhaust fans.
  • Conduct inspections of facility infrastructure to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage and maintain building automation systems (BAS) and related controls.
  • Install, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, codes, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NEC).
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and external contractors as needed.
  • Assist with general building repairs and upkeep, including minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools common to the trade.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
  • Associate's degree or vocational training in Electrical, HVAC, or Facilities Maintenance.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
