Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Selectors to join our dynamic team in Layton, UT. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves, ensuring orders are prepared for shipment according to specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select products from designated warehouse locations using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Safely operate various material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Verify product counts and ensure items match order specifications.
- Organize and stage selected orders for loading and shipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
