Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Specialist to join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Sugar Land, TX. This role is crucial to our daily operations, involving the precise handling and processing of inventory to ensure timely delivery to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, contributing directly to our mission of customer satisfaction. A $500 sign-on bonus will be paid after 90 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and accurately scan products into inventory.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare items for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer navigation skills for inventory systems.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar logistics environment.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners.
