Job Description

Wish Farms is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Part-time Weekend Farm Hand in Zephyrhills, FL. This role is perfect for someone passionate about local agriculture, enjoys working outdoors, and is eager to contribute to the harvest and maintenance of our crops. You will be an integral part of our weekend operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our farming activities. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, working directly with our various berry crops. Key Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks related to crop cultivation, including planting, weeding, pruning, and harvesting of berry crops.
• Assist with the care and routine maintenance of farm equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Participate in post-harvest activities such as sorting, grading, packing, and preparing produce for market and shipment.
• Monitor crop health, identify common pests or diseases, and report any issues or concerns to the farm supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm areas, including fields, packing sheds, and tool storage facilities.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, agricultural best practices, and food safety standards.
• Support other farm operations and special projects as needed during weekend shifts to ensure smooth functioning.
• Operate basic farm machinery or hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.

• Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and common agricultural practices in Florida.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating basic farm machinery (e.g., riding mowers, tillers, utility vehicles) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
