Job Description
BrightView Landscapes is seeking a dedicated and energetic Weekend Landscaping Aide to join our team in New Port Richey. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically active, and are looking for weekend work. You will be instrumental in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of various commercial and residential properties, ensuring they always look their best. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and trimming.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees as directed.
- Assist with irrigation system checks and basic repairs.
- Remove debris, litter, and fallen leaves to maintain a clean appearance.
- Operate various hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance tasks or a strong desire to learn.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or general outdoor labor.
- Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial landscape equipment.
