Job Description
Are you a TikTok enthusiast with a passion for creative storytelling and video editing? GroupM is seeking a talented and trend-savvy Work From Home TikTok Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote role offering flexible hours, perfect for someone who thrives on creating engaging, short-form video content that captures attention and drives virality. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, filming (if applicable), and editing high-quality video content specifically designed for TikTok, aligning with various client brand voices and campaign objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, shoot (if required, using phone/basic setup), and edit original and engaging video content specifically for the TikTok platform.
- Stay relentlessly updated on the latest TikTok trends, sounds, effects, and best practices, integrating them into content strategy.
- Work closely with content strategists, social media managers, and brand teams to ensure video content aligns with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of content.
- Implement feedback efficiently and iteratively to refine video edits and improve performance.
- Optimize videos for TikTok's algorithm, including captions, hashtags, and timing.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and creative approaches.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Deep understanding of the TikTok platform, including its unique features, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
- Strong creative vision and storytelling ability, with an aptitude for crafting compelling narratives in short-form video.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and sound design.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Basic knowledge of video production, lighting, and sound for mobile-first content.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful TikTok content creation and editing examples.
