Job Description
Join TELUS International as a Written Conversation Annotator and play a crucial role in enhancing AI-powered communication systems. In this fully remote position, you will analyze and annotate chat-based conversations, ensuring the quality and accuracy of data used to train advanced language models. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of conversational nuances will directly contribute to improving user experience and AI performance. This flexible role allows you to manage your work around your schedule while being an integral part of our innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and annotate text-based conversations (chat logs) according to specific guidelines and instructions.
- Categorize and tag data points related to intent, sentiment, entity recognition, and other linguistic features.
- Identify and report discrepancies, ambiguities, or issues within the annotation guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve annotation tools and processes.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in all annotation tasks.
- Work independently to meet daily and weekly annotation quotas.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex guidelines.
- Proficiency with computers and web-based tools.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
