Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Content Editor to join our dynamic remote team. This is a critical role for individuals with impeccable English language skills and a keen eye for accuracy, style, and brand voice. You will be responsible for reviewing, refining, and optimizing content generated by advanced AI models, ensuring it meets Google’s high standards for quality, factual correctness, and linguistic excellence. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within Canada, collaborating with teams across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread AI-generated content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.
- Ensure all content adheres to Google's brand guidelines, tone of voice, and specific project requirements.
- Fact-check information presented in AI-generated text, verifying sources and data points.
- Provide constructive feedback to AI models and development teams to improve content generation quality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive style guides and editorial standards for AI-driven content.
- Collaborate with content strategists, AI researchers, and product managers to define content objectives and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in AI, natural language processing, and content creation best practices.
Required Skills
- Native-level proficiency and exceptional command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in professional editing, copy editing, or proofreading, preferably in a digital content environment.
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago).
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a 100% remote setting.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
